Over 50s divorce rising-is it time to simplify the process?

As Leicester City close in on one of the most unpredictable Premier Leagues to date, ex player and television pundit Gary Lineker was not chatting about football but divorce instead.

‘Gary Lineker is calling for a “mathematical equation” to help couple’s divorce quickly and avoid the “manipulative” behaviour of lawyers.’ As reported in today’s Daily Telegraph.

After an 8 year marriage to Danielle Bux, Gary and Danielle mutually decided to go on separate ways, one of the principle reasons reported for ending their marriage was ‘because he’s too old to start another family’.

Gary Lineker (55) has four sons from his previous marriage and decided he was too old to start another family. Despite Mr Lineker’s circa £20 million fortune to avoid hefty legal fees’ the couple used a Government website costing around £400 to conclude their divorce. The former Leicester City player said he’d like to see the whole process simplified .
