Hi everyone, I’m a bit unsure about what vector images are and what they’re used for. Could someone provide some insight?

Hey there. Vector images are graphics that are created using mathematical formulas, rather than consisting of pixels like raster images (wampanoag pictures). This means they can be scaled infinitely without losing quality, making them perfect for logos, illustrations, and any other graphics where scalability is important. Additionally, vector images are commonly used in graphic design software like Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW. They’re also popular in web design, as they tend to have smaller file sizes compared to raster images, which can help websites load faster.

Hi there, vector images are also great for printing purposes, especially when you need high-resolution images for large-format prints like banners or billboards. Since they’re resolution-independent, you don’t have to worry about losing quality when enlarging them.
