I’ve been running a machine shop in Ajman for about eight years now, and one of the most frustrating recurring expenses I have is replacing crates and storage bins that just don’t hold up. I’ve tried plastic, I’ve tried wood, I’ve tried metal mesh—and everything seems to start falling apart after a year or two of regular use. The plastic ones crack under the weight of heavy parts, the wooden ones get splintered and warped, and the metal ones rust in the humidity. I’m at the point where I’m ready to invest in something that will actually last, but I don’t want to keep guessing and getting it wrong. A supplier I work with suggested I find out more about long-lasting storage crates that are designed for industrial environments, and that maybe I need to stop buying whatever is cheapest at the hardware store and look for something built for the long haul. I’m hoping to find a company in Ajman that specializes in heavy-duty storage solutions and can help me figure out what material and design makes sense for my specific needs. If anyone here has found crates that actually survive years of heavy use in a workshop or warehouse environment, I’d really appreciate hearing what you’re using and where you got them from.
