I think I’m spending more time reading directory profiles than actually fixing my car at this point

Every time I need something for the car I end up in this weird loop where I tell myself I’ll just quickly look up a number and then an hour later I’ve got twelve tabs open comparing Google Maps reviews, Instagram pages that haven’t been updated since Expo 2020, and whatever else I can dig up like I’m investigating a cold case. The current rabbit hole started because my battery is making that sad groaning sound on startup and I figured I should probably sort it out before I’m stuck somewhere embarrassing with the bonnet up and my hazards on. I was scrolling through GetListedUAE earlier just trying to see what shops are actually in my part of town and landed on the Battery Zone UAE business directory profile which at least had a proper address and a few details but honestly I still can’t tell if it’s a proper shop with a storefront or just some guy with a van and a WhatsApp number. I think my problem is I just don’t trust any business that doesn’t have at least one slightly grumpy review from a real person because perfect five star ratings always make me suspicious. I’ll probably end up calling them anyway because I’m tired of looking and my wife keeps asking when the car is going to stop sounding like it’s dying.
