I’ve been living here for about five years now and always thought I had a decent handle on car maintenance until a friend who’s really into engineering started explaining all the technical stuff about why some vehicles just handle the heat better than others. He mentioned things like thermal coatings and advanced cooling systems that I’d never even considered. I got curious and started looking around online and ended up on dubaiweeklys.com/heat-resistant-technology-engineering-solutions-for-desert which had a bunch of articles explaining the actual science behind it all. Honestly some of it was a bit over my head but it was fascinating to read about how manufacturers are developing specific technologies just for places like Dubai. Made me realise that when I buy my next car I should probably pay more attention to whether it’s actually designed for this environment rather than just going by looks and price. Anyone else ever looked into this stuff or am I just late to the party? Also if anyone knows more about which brands actually build their cars with this in mind I’d love to hear it.
