Got a big family Liwa trip coming up end of the month and my car’s been starting just a tiny bit lazy in the mornings, nothing alarming yet but enough that I’m side eyeing it every time I turn the key. I was poking around online trying to figure out what the cold cranking amps should even be for a 3.8 Pajero and ended up on http://amaroncarbattery.ae/ where they had a pretty clear fitment thing that actually matched my model without me having to dig out the old manual, which was a nice change from staring at random spec sheets honestly. Now I’m wondering if I should just swap it before the trip or if I’m being overly cautious and can push it another few months, because the last thing I want is to be stuck somewhere past Madinat Zayed with a car full of overexcited kids and no shade in sight. Anyone else ever preemptively changed their battery before a big drive and felt it was worth the peace of mind, or do these things usually give more warning than I think?
